It’s back-to-school season, which means kids are dusting off their school supplies and getting ready for new adventures. As parents, we want our kids to have the best school year ever. That’s why it’s important to help them find activities that they can enjoy and feel good about. 🚸🏫📚🎒🖍

One way to do this is by encouraging them to participate in activities that are traditionally seen as “for boys” or “for girls.” When children express themselves freely without being limited by gender stereotypes, they are more likely to develop a positive sense of self. 👧👦

And so, two of our favorite neighbors are helping our kids to discover more about themselves and the world around them through their books. Parents and teachers can take advantage of these resources to teach our little ones how to love themselves just the way they are and build better relationships in school and beyond. 🤗💛

We cordially invite you and your little ones to join David Newell (who played the beloved Mr. McFeely on Mister Rogers Neighborhood) and our John Masiulionis for Episode #18 of PR From The Heart’s Neighborly Reviews Bookcast, as they share two amazing books: Ethan’s Little Truck Adventures by C. Jordan and Little Curly Susie by Suzette Oxendine. 📚

We encourage you, our fellow neighbors, to support C. Jordan and Suzette by purchasing Ethan’s Little Truck Adventures and Little Curly Susie, and enjoying these empowering reads with your little ones:
