As our kids grow up, they will encounter a wonderfully diverse world filled with people who are unlike themselves in various ways.

Therefore, we must help them find the courage to embrace their individuality when faced with feelings of being different, showing them that it’s what’s inside that counts.

And so, as we proudly celebrate Black History Month and the three-year anniversary of The Neighborly Reviews Bookcast, we honor one African-American trailblazer, who is helping children nationwide to remember that our diverse qualities should be a cause for celebration, not division, for we are all special just the way we are.

We cordially invite you and your little ones to join David Newell (who played the beloved Mr. McFeely on Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood), along with our John Masiulionis and Little Forrest for Ep. #36 of PR From The Heart’s Neighborly Reviews Bookcast, as they share Chandra Lockett’s award-winning Oinkers and Bananas Series (What’s In a Name?, Bubble Trouble, and Let’s Eat Cake!

We encourage you, our fellow neighbors, to support Chandra by purchasing your copies of the Oinkers and Bananas Series and enjoying these empowering reads with your little ones: https://bit.ly/42C4e5O.
