The first day of the back-to-school season is one of the most exciting and thrilling part of the year. But it can also be a challenge for parents and teachers to help kids navigate this transition. 🏫📖

A lot of kids feel like they can’t do anything because they’re so little. In their eyes, everything seems so big and beyond their abilities. But that’s not true—we can help them believe in themselves by showing them how much fun it is to try new things! 👨‍🚀🕵💃⛹‍♂️

When they feel encouraged and supported by their parents and teachers, they’ll be able to take more risks. And while some things will still be hard for them (like learning math or singing), at least they’ll feel like their efforts are worth something!💙🙌

And so, two of our favorite neighbors are teaching our kids that they can be anything if they… just try. These resources of care serve as a reminder for us to value every child’s potential and to help them be their best selves.

We cordially invite you and your little ones to join David Newell (who played the beloved Mr. McFeely on Mister Rogers Neighborhood) and our John Masiulionis for Episode #19 of PR From The Heart’s Neighborly Reviews Bookcast, as they share two amazing books: I Can… Just Try by Children’s Author & Owner of Mother Doves Academy LLC, Theresa Smith Hickman and The First 12 Days of Preschool by Preschool Director & Award-Winning Children’s Author, Jeanette Crystal Bradley. 📚

We encourage you, our fellow neighbors, to support Theresa’s I Can… Just Try and Jeanette’s The First 12 Days of Preschool, by purchasing and enjoying these empowering reads with your little ones:
