“If humans do the worst acts, we can also do the best- This world could use a lot more healing.”

Those deep-touching words came from an Auschwitz survivor named Eva Mozes Kor. And how true her words are in our time! 😐

Our children are the future. They are our hope and our promise. But right now, they are also the most vulnerable members of our society. 🧒👧

More and more children are being exposed to hate, violence, acts of bigotry, injustice, and trauma. With all the turmoil and hatred in the world, it’s easy for them to feel lost, alone, and scared. 😔😢😰😥

All of these take a toll on our children. They break their spirit and they rob them of their innocence. We need to do better- we need to protect our children! 💔👨‍👩‍👧‍👧

Therefore, it is incumbent upon us, as parents and adults, to help them navigate these waters without trying to sugarcoat the situation or downplay the seriousness. We have to work to create a more inclusive and accepting world for our children where they can heal and thrive.

And so, one of our neighbors is here to share a deeply moving story of how twin sisters Eva and Miriam were able to find courage, forgiveness, and healing despite the horrors of the holocaust called, I Will Protect You: A True Story of Twins Who Survived Auschwitz.
