Our kids are exposed to diversity in school. They meet kids and adults that are different from them. Sadly, rather than celebrate this diversity, many of our kids are being bullied because of being different. 😔

No child should have to feel like an outcast for something beautiful and unique about them, such as their hair, skin color, how they speak, or what their interests are. 🙏🏻

When we, as parents and caregivers of our children, inspire our little ones to accept and embrace themselves, they are able to build self-confidence that can’t be bullied away. 💖

And so, one of our fellow neighbors is inspiring kids around the world to remember that it’s okay to be themselves and that they’re worthy of love, kindness, and respect. 🤗

Children’s author Dr. K. Renée joins our John Masiulionis for Episode #161 of PR From The Heart’s Children’s Books Spotlight Series to share her inspiring story, the release of her new children’s book, Different Us!, what being different means and how it can hold more power than we can imagine, how parents can help their children to be confident in their own uniqueness, why we should continue to hold on to our dreams, plus much more. 👩🏽👦🏿👦👧

We encourage you, our fellow neighbors, to support Dr. Renée by purchasing your copy of Different Us! and enjoying this empowering read with your little ones: https://bit.ly/3SYR5gD. 📖
