Insecurities can have a major impact on children. 😞

When little ones feel insecure, they may feel like they are not good enough, they may feel shy or withdrawn, and they may even have difficulty trusting others. 😔

Insecurities can affect children’s self-esteem and can cause them to feel anxious or depressed. In some cases, insecurities can even lead to problems in school or with relationships. 😟

Therefore, it is important for parents to be aware of their little ones’ insecurities and to help them deal with them in a healthy way, by providing positive reinforcement, by building their self-confidence, and by teaching them how to cope with negative thoughts and feelings. 💚

And so, one of our fellow neighbors is here to remind children that it’s normal to feel insecure at times and that they can learn how to accept and love themselves as God created them to be. 👦👦🏿👧👧🏿

Children’s author Suzette Oxendine joins our John Masiulionis for Episode #154 of PR From the Heart’s Children’s Books Spotlight Series to share her inspiring story, the release of her new children’s book, Little Curly Susie (published by AuthorHouse), how we can help our little ones learn to accept themselves and be overcomers, how important open communication is to a family dynamic, how we can provide a support system for our children, to encourage them to rely on us, rather than trying to solve problems on their own, plus much more. 👧🙏🏻⚽

We encourage you, our fellow neighbors, to support Suzette by purchasing your copy of Little Curly Susie, and enjoying this empowering read with your little ones: https://amzn.to/3cCz5JA. 📖
