Self-acceptance is a concept that can be hard to teach our kids.
It’s more than just telling them that they are special or that they’re doing good. It’s more about teaching them that their worth is not dependent on what other people think.
We all know that our children are in the middle of their own journey of self-discovery. And as caregivers and guardians of these little ones, it is our responsibility to teach them the importance of self-acceptance. That starts with helping them see themselves the way that God sees them: that they are perfect just the way they are.
And so, one of our fellow neighbors is here to help our kids develop a sense of security about who they are and teach them how they can love and accept themselves unconditionally, so that they can grow to become more self-confident and happier individuals.
We cordially invite you and your little ones to join our John Masiulionis for Episode #8 of the Unity of El Cajon’s Story Time with Mr. John (presented by PR From The Heart), as he shares Suzette Oxendine’s new children’s book, Little Curly Susie, along with universal messages from the heart on self-worth and inherent value.
