Self-acceptance is a concept that can be hard to teach our kids.

It’s more than just telling them that they are special or that they’re doing good. It’s more about teaching them that their worth is not dependent on what other people think.

We all know that our children are in the middle of their own journey of self-discovery. And as caregivers and guardians of these little ones, it is our responsibility to teach them the importance of self-acceptance. That starts with helping them see themselves the way that God sees them: that they are perfect just the way they are.
